A stroll through town

Ok, so it’s easter – almost missed it. Which should mean spring, if I remember correctly. Hm. Somebody should tell that to the guy upstairs…

After finalizing two major reports, two manuscripts, digging through a pile of data and finally convincing excel and SAS to actually behave (sort of), I’m really looking forward to some days off. The wife is here and we’re certainly going to enjoy the coming week! Starting with a nice stroll through Göteborg, making the best of a couple of hours of sunshine (although the shot above is a bit older, this is how things look like at the moment). :)

I’m not really vulnerable to fits of spring cleaning… but there’s that huge pile of old photography magazines. What the heck am I supposed to do with it? Ok, easiest things first: all issues of “Outdoor Photographer” go straight in the recycling bin. Wonder why I kept them that long anyway. But then there’s “Camera Natura” (Swedish) and “Naturfoto” (German), and some of “Natures Best Photography” (Smithsonian)which both contain sometimes absolutely amazing shots. An hour after trying to get an idea about what to do with them, I’m still browsing… Oh well, I guess that’s what lazy sunday afternoons are for, right?

Ha det bra! :)

Fine light and complementary colors you have captured here!

Re. spring cleaning photography magazines: The good advice would be to throw them away in one sweep and to go out and make pictures, but sure as hell I don’t follow this either. Instead I pile them up, maybe until I have to move to another flat…
