Phew, I can only hope that the rest of 2010 is not going to be as hectic as its first weeks. Only the usual catastrophes and some urgent deadlines to survive. Nothing really problematic – but I’m already starting to feel a bit wrung out.
So I needed a calm, soothing photo for now. And still lifes in snow always work perfectly in that respect. Together with a square frame.

Fine – calm and soothing this definitely is. And that small twig to the right balances the image very well. Certainly a keeper, printed large it should look wonderful on the wall.

I guess I had a few similar weeks, it really tears you down in the long run. Thankfully, the recovery time isn’t that lengthy.
That’s a wonderful image, very graphical in its appearance. Like a Japanese ink drawing. Lovely, and certainly soothing.
